On Wednesday, January 17th, our girls freshman team pulled ahead the whole time and beat highland 39-60. Good job girls! The freshman girls season is almost over so make sure to get out there and support them!

The junior high and high school dance teams competed in the Upper Valley Dance Competition this weekend on Friday. They competed in the categories of dance, military, hip hop, and pom. The junior high placed 2nd in dance and 3rd in military. The high school placed 2nd in dance, 1st in military, tied for 1st in hip hop, and 2nd in pom. Thursday the 7th of December, the 7th grade orchestra had a concert at the High School. They played Ridin' the Rails by: Meyer, Jupiter from the planets, Op. 32 by: Holst/Monday, Modern Christmas Classics by: Caponegro, and Legends of Glory by: Griesinger. The 5th grade and 6th grade also played. During the 6th grade performance Santa Claus made an appearance, and read The Night Before Christmas. The 7th grade did a really great job. In Modern Christmas Classics they played a mix of many modern christmas songs. Our freshman Cats won the game. Pulling ahead the whole game with a final score of 66-44.
This means our Freshman boys team is undefeated this season. Good job Cats! Good luck at your next game! By Sadie Sherman Last night was full of excitement as both of our teams beat Sandview! There were multiple injuries as people got slammed to the floor, but in the end seventh grade had us all on our toes as they won by just a few points. Eighth grade dominated Sandview by more than 10 points!
Olivia Larsen The Madison Freshmen boys won the game! Sky view got smoked. They played really hard and their hard work payed off. Good luck at your next game.
Sadie Sherman And Samantha Allen On Thursday our seventh and eighth grade basketball teams faced off against Taylorview. Seventh grade nearly won, with Taylorview pulling one point ahead just before the end. Eighth grade also did an outstanding job, winning with a score of 30 to18!

HOMECOMING!!!! Hope everyone got a seat at the biggest game of the whole season! With a total of over 5000 people showing up, it sure was a party. The undefeated Madison varsity football team went up against Thunder Ridge this homecoming game. Bobcats won the game with a finishing score 52 - 20. They started off taking the whole first quarter with a score of 14-0 and took the last quarter with a touchdown. Special thanks to our varsity team for this amazing win. Go Bobcats! |
