Announcements 1/6/2021

• Coming up on Saturday the 30th of January we will have 8  students who have joined the US Chess Federation compete for prizes and medals as well as points towards their ranking and of course bragging rights.  In order to assist these students prepare for a "rated" US Chess tournament Mr. Allison will be having Open Chess in the Aux Gym classroom each day during lunch.
• Also, we will be having the Mancala tournament in the Game Room on January 27th and 28th.  This ancient game of African origins involves stealing your opponents marbles.  Trying to make your classmate "lose their marbles" may not seem like a nice thing to do but it is actually quite hilarious when it happens.  Come out and play Mancala all this month in the game room to learn the game or to improve your skills.  Ask Mr. Allison if you have any questions.
