Congratulations to the girls varsity volleyball team for taking 2nd place in state! They played in the championship against Skyview, ranked #13 in the nation. We were the only team to take a set from them. We also won the 5A Volleyball Sportsmanship award. Way to represent!

The Madison Library is turning 100 in December! To celebrate, the library is hosting an essay writing contest. The topic is “What does the Madison Library mean to you?” The wordcount must be between 250 and 2000 words. Submit your essay to the Madison County Library by November 30th. Winners will receive an envelope with cash and coupons!
For members of the Hope Squad. Remember that you will be meeting during your lunch on Wednesdays. You will be excused 5 minutes early to get your lunch and head to the meeting, but it is your responsibility to remind your teacher. If you have 1st lunch, meet in Mr. Becraft’s room. If you have 2nd lunch, meet in Mr. Mayers’ room.
And our final announcement is from Mrs. Munns. The Ricks Building lost and found is getting full. If you have had class or practice out there, please check it out. There are many water bottles, sweatshirts, and shoes. The lost and found items will be donated if not claimed by the end of the week.
