On Thursday night, November 12, the Junior High Madison Bobcats put up a wonderful fight on the court against the Thunder Ridge Titans.
The game started out quickly, Madison already having two points in the first few minutes of the game. However, Thunder Ridge pulled ahead by one point. Though the Titans were winning, it didn’t last long. The Bobcats, after a foul shot by Thunder Ridge, scored a basket, putting them at five. Both teams took a few tumbles, but finally, after a fierce fight, The Madison 7th grade team won, 37-24.
After the 7th graders won their game, Thunder Ridge decided it was their turn to win when they played Madison’s 8th grade team. Sadly, the game ended up being a loss for Madison 43-31. Brooklyn Lamph, an 8th grade player, said that she felt frustrated about the game because all their shots were off and Thunder Ridge had some good Shooters.
Though the game may have not ended out how Madison would have liked it, we know that they played hard. I would like to congratulate both teams. Way to go Bobcats!
