The Last Freshmen Girls Basketball Game of the Season

January 27th, 2022 your Madison girls basketball team played their last game against the Idaho Falls Tigers. The 9th grade team consists of 9 girls all in 9th grade.  Madison was off to a great start and by the end of the 1st quarter it was already 11 to 0 with the Bobcats winning. The girls played such amazing defense! Through the second, quarter #11 Navy Anderson got fouled and made both of her 2 free throws. Navy got a technical foul and made both again. #20 Jocelynn Jeppesen made a good rebound off of Navy Anderson and got fouled. #13 Caydence Yates made an awesome rebound too. By half time it was 22 to 6 with the Madison girls trailing the Tigers. They won the game 33 - 18. 

Also a shout out to the cheerleaders who were cheering them on with no student section to support. Next season, people need to come to support their girls playing at home. The girls stayed strong throughout the game. They had good defense and all the girls did amazing.
