Freshmen Boys Basketball Beats Thunder Ridge in Overtime

The Madison Freshmen boys basketball team played an intense game against Thunder Ridge on Thursday, January 6th, 2021. 

In their first game of 2022, the Bobcats were able to maintain a decent lead for the majority of the game, but then in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, Thunder Ridge stepped it up and managed to tie the score: 
46-46. 

Overtime began, and it seemed like every thirty seconds, there was another foul on Thunder Ridge. This gave the Bobcats some valuable opportunities to shoot free throws. Tanner Johnson, Hazen Torgerson, Carter Lerwill, and Robby Matthews all made some important shots. This helped the Bobcats gain momentum in the four minutes of overtime, and they were able to pull off a win!

Final score: 57-54.
