Ok so there is this guy, he is a freshman and I'm in 8th grade, and I have a major crush and I have for a long time. Our older sisters are like best friends. I really like talking to him, and I want to get to know him. He says hi to me in the halls, but other than that, we rarely ever talk, and I get really nervous around him. It feels kinda like a burst of energy mixed with queasiness. I don't know if he likes me, but I really like him. What should I do? Do you think he likes me? How can I be better friends with him?

I think the best thing you can do in your situation right now is to try to get to know him better. Try to make time to talk to him. I totally understand that it can feel really stressful and nerve-racking, but I promise the more you talk to him, the easier it will get. Maybe see if you can get his number and try to text him.
