Dear MR. Bobcat

Insecure

What's your question?
So, I've been going through a lot this school year. And sometimes I feel ugly and fat and just so insecure about myself because of what people said to me without thinking. I don't know what to do anymore, and I could use some help. Could you help me?

Mr. Bobcat:
Dear Insecure,
I'm sorry that you've been feeling that way. It's terrible when people don't always consider how you might be feeling, and it's not uncommon to feel insecure. Just remember that what other people say or think about you doesn't matter in the long run. You are the best you, no matter what. Don't let your insecurities define who you are. You have your own amazing personality, and that is what makes you beautiful and unique. And as for your struggles this school year, it won't last forever. There are people rooting for you and wanting to help you get through it, even if you don't know that they're there. If things continue to get worse, consider finding more professional help. There are so many places that you can go to for support, like the school counselors, trusted adults, and friends. They'll be willing to help you. If the comments are bullying, please tell an adult immediately. That will never be acceptable. Just know that I think you are amazing and beautiful, and frankly, what others might say doesn't matter.
"You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." – A.A. Milne.

The gym was packed. Sneakers squeaked, the crowd buzzed, and somehow this random pickup game had turned legendary.

LeBron James walked onto the court calm as ever, tying his shoes like it was just another Tuesday. On the other side stood Travis Scott, hyped up, pacing, yelling “IT’S LIT” to nobody in particular. The ref checked the ball.

Then there was Mason, age 67, sitting courtside in a folding chair, wearing knee-high socks, sunglasses indoors, and sipping a sports drink like he knew something everyone else didn’t.

Game on.

First play: Travis tries to cross LeBron. Big mistake. LeBron barely moves, just reaches out, steals the ball, and casually jogs down the court for a dunk so powerful the scoreboard blinked for a second.

Mason nodded slowly. “Called it.”

Next possession, Travis pulls up for a deep three. Brick. LeBron grabs the rebound with one hand, throws a no-look pass to himself off the backboard, and slams it again. Crowd goes wild.

Travis tries everything—step-backs, spins, even checking his shoes like they betrayed him. Nothing works. LeBron is everywhere at once, blocking shots, hitting fadeaways, smiling like he’s playing on easy mode.

By halftime, the score is LeBron: a lot — Travis: not much.

Mason stands up, stretches his back, and yells, “I’m 67 and I could tell you this was a bad matchup!” The crowd cheers louder than the dunk contest.

Final play: LeBron lets Travis try one last shot. Travis goes up… LeBron blocks it so clean it lands right in Mason’s hands.

Game over.

LeBron waves to the crowd. Travis just laughs, hands on his knees, knowing he just got destroyed by basketball greatness. Mason puts the ball under his arm and says, “I’m keeping this. Proof I witnessed history.”

And honestly? He wasn’t wrong.

PART 2 — THE REMATCH NOBODY WAS READY FOR
(long, cinematic, over-the-top… let’s go)

Part 2: The Night the Arena Changed Forever

Word spread fast after the first game. Clips of LeBron embarrassing Travis Scott were everywhere—phones, TVs, group chats, even playing silently on gas station screens at 2 a.m. Travis didn’t deny it. He didn’t explain it.

He just posted one line:

“Run it back.”

Three nights later, the same arena lit up—but this time, it was different. Bigger lights. Louder speakers. Security everywhere. This wasn’t a pickup game anymore. This was a 5-on-5 showdown.

Courtside, in the exact same folding chair, sat Mason, age 67. Same sunglasses. Same calm energy. Same sports drink. He hadn’t said a word all night—but people swore the air felt heavier when he walked in.

🏀 TEAM BASKETBALL (NBA)

LeBron didn’t come alone this time.

LeBron James – captain, locked in

Stephen Curry – chewing his mouthguard, smiling

Kevin Durant – silent, focused, deadly

Giannis Antetokounmpo – stretching like a superhero

Anthony Davis – serious face, no nonsense

Five real NBA monsters. No music. No talk. Just business.

🎤 TEAM RAP

Travis came back with backup—and confidence.

Travis Scott – captain, hoodie off, serious

Drake – trash-talking already

Lil Baby – quiet but quick

J. Cole – calm, reading the court

21 Savage – expressionless, laser-focused

The crowd was split. Half chanting “NBA! NBA!”, the other half yelling lyrics and waving phones.

Mason leaned forward slightly.

🕛 FIRST QUARTER: RAP STRIKES FIRST

Surprise.

Drake opens with a clean mid-range jumper. Swish.
Lil Baby sneaks in a layup.
Travis hits a three and yells, “IT’S LIT!”

For the first time, the NBA team looks… human.

Curry responds with a logo three.
KD answers with a smooth pull-up.
Giannis bulldozes through everyone for a dunk that rattles the rim.

Score stays tight.

Mason taps his cane once on the floor.

Nobody knows why—but the lights flicker for half a second.

🕒 SECOND QUARTER: NBA TURNS IT UP

LeBron takes over.

A chase-down block on 21 Savage.
A no-look pass to AD for a dunk.
Then LeBron drives, spins, and posterizes Travis so hard the crowd gasps.

Curry starts cooking—three after three after three.
KD doesn’t miss.
Giannis runs the floor like a freight train.

Team Rap starts breathing heavier.

Mason stands up slowly.

🕕 THIRD QUARTER: THE BATTLE

J. Cole surprises everyone—smart passes, clean footwork.
Drake hits a deep shot and points at the NBA bench.
Travis plays angry, aggressive, determined.

But it’s not enough.

LeBron blocks Travis again.
AD swats Lil Baby at the rim.
Giannis dunks so hard the shot clock shakes.

The crowd is losing its mind.

Mason raises one finger.

🕘 FOURTH QUARTER: MASON’S 67 EFFECTS

With two minutes left, Mason steps onto the court.

The ref freezes.
The players stop.
The crowd goes silent.

Mason clears his throat.

“I’m 67,” he says. “So you get 67 effects.”

He taps the floor.

The Arena Changes.

The lights glow gold.

The crowd roars louder than ever.

Every bounce echoes.

The rims feel heavier.

The floor seems faster.

The air buzzes.

Time feels slower.
8–20. Energy surges through the building.
21–40. The crowd chants in perfect rhythm.
41–60. Every play feels legendary.
61–66. History presses down on the moment.

Effect 67:

Everyone realizes they’ll remember this night forever.

🏁 FINAL PLAY

Score: NBA up by 2.

Travis gets the ball. He drives. LeBron steps in.

Travis shoots.

Blocked.

The ball flies out—straight to Mason.

Buzzer.

Game over.

🏆 EPILOGUE

LeBron nods at Travis. Respect.
Curry laughs.
KD walks off quietly.
Giannis flexes.
AD smiles for the first time all night.

Travis breathes hard, then smiles. “Yeah… we needed that.”

Mason sits back down, folds his chair, and walks out.

Someone asks him, “Who won?”

Mason replies:

“Basketball did.”

PART 3 — THE CARTI SHIFT
(long, dramatic, comeback-heavy… this is the anime arc)

Part 3: When the Arena Changed Sides

By now, this wasn’t just a game.

It was an event.

The arena was sold out again—same court, same lights—but the tension felt different. People remembered what happened last time. They remembered Mason, age 67, and his 67 Arena Effects. They remembered how the NBA squad always seemed to win when Mason stepped in.

And the NBA players knew it too.

LeBron walked in calm but serious.
Curry wasn’t smiling.
KD barely spoke.
Giannis cracked his neck.
AD stared straight ahead.

Across the court, Team Rap looked determined—but uneasy.

Travis bounced the ball slowly.
Drake whispered something to J. Cole.
Lil Baby tightened his shoes.
21 Savage stared at the rim like it owed him money.

No one noticed the shadow at the top of the arena.

Not yet.

🏀 FIRST HALF: TOTAL NBA CONTROL

From the opening tip, it was domination.

Curry hit three straight logo threes.
Giannis dunked so hard the rim bent slightly.
KD didn’t miss a single mid-range shot.
AD locked down the paint.
LeBron controlled everything—pace, space, momentum.

Team Rap tried to respond.

Drake hit a shot.
Cole made a smart layup.
Travis forced a three.

But it didn’t matter.

By halftime, the scoreboard was ugly.

NBA: up by a lot.

The crowd started chanting Mason’s name.

🧓 MASON 67 RETURNS

Mason stood up.

The arena instantly reacted.

Lights dimmed.
Sound deepened.
The floor hummed.

Everyone knew what was coming.

Mason raised his hand.

“67,” he said.

The 67 Arena activates.

Time slowed.

The crowd synced.

NBA shots felt automatic.

Every NBA step felt lighter.

Every Rap miss felt heavier.

LeBron nodded once.
Curry smiled just a little.

This was over.

⚡ THEN IT HAPPENED

The lights cut out completely.

Not flicker.
Not dim.

Gone.

A deep bass shook the building.

The sound system turned on by itself.

A voice echoed:

“What if the arena was… MINE?”

A red glow ripped across the court.

Smoke exploded at center circle.

And suddenly--

PLAYBOI CARTI TELEPORTED IN.

Standing on the logo.
Black and red lights flashing.
Music vibrating through the walls.

The crowd SCREAMED.

Mason froze.

Carti looked around… and laughed.

🧛 THE CARTI ARENA OVERRIDE

Carti raised his hand.

“Nah,” he said. “We do it MY way.”

The floor glitched.

The 67 Arena cracked.

Then--

THE PLAYBOI CARTI ARENA ACTIVATED

The lights turned red and black.

The crowd moved like waves.

Bass shook the court nonstop.

Time became chaotic.

Rhythm replaced strategy.

Momentum shifted instantly.

Mason stepped back.

His 67 Effects were still there…

But they were being overwritten.

🎤 RAP TEAM COMEBACK

Something changed in Team Rap.

Travis started moving faster.
Drake hit shots back-to-back.
J. Cole played flawless basketball.
Lil Baby slipped through defenses.
21 Savage locked in on defense.

Carti didn’t touch the ball.

He didn’t need to.

The arena itself was helping them.

NBA shots started rattling out.
Passes felt off.
Timing broke.

LeBron frowned for the first time all night.

🕛 FINAL MINUTES: CHAOS

Score tied.

Crowd louder than ever.

Curry shot—miss.
KD shot—rimmed out.
Giannis dunk attempt—blocked.

Travis hit a deep three.

Drake followed with another.

LeBron drove, powered through… and scored.

Tie again.

Carti floated near the sideline, arms raised.

“KEEP IT GOING,” he shouted.

🏁 LAST PLAY

Team Rap up by 1.

Ball in Travis’s hands.

LeBron guards him.

Clock ticking.

Travis drives. Stops. Passes to J. Cole.

Cole kicks it to Drake.

Drake fakes.

Passes back to Travis.

Travis shoots.

SWISH.

Buzzer.

🏆 AFTERMATH

Silence.

Then—explosion.

Team Rap wins.

The NBA players stand there, stunned.

LeBron looks at Mason.

Mason just nods.

Carti laughs and fades back into smoke, the arena returning to normal.

Before disappearing, he says:

“Next time… bring more than basketball.”

🌌 EPILOGUE

The lights return.
The crowd is shaking.
History has been rewritten.

Mason sits back down.

“67 is strong,” he says.

“But music?”

He smiles.

“Music bends reality.”
