What's your question?
So I have this friend. Well I don't know if we are or not because of the way she acts. But she copies almost everything I do and it bothers me. If I call a teacher over to ask a question or to ask for help, she does the same thing and calls the same teacher over. I help with the special needs kids and now she wants to have a class with them! It makes me so mad and it makes me so mad. Even though she is in the "HOPE SQUAD", I still don't think I can talk to her about anything. I don't want to talk to her because she will be mad at me and won't listen. Do you have any advice because I can't deal with it anymore. She just bothers me so much but I don't want to hurt her feelings.

Mr. Bobcat:
Dear Copy Cat,

Well this is kind of tricky. I think there are a couple decisions you could make here, depending on the circumstances. Is this friend doing this to intentionally bother you? If you think so, you could ask them to stop. But if you don't think that's the case, and this friend doesn't know you're annoyed, maybe just consider that they could just really like you, and want to be with you as much as they can or want to be like you. Realize that this friend is allowed to make their own decisions, or join a class they feel interested in, and you just can't expect to control whether that happens or not. If this person is really a good friend, you can try to work it out the way you see fit. If you don't feel that they're a very close friend, you don't have to pretend that you are, but the answer is never to start a fight.
